Lake Fertő in Hungary. Heritage Lost? Or Progress?

Thatched roofs at Lake Fertő in Hungary. 10 out of the 21 pile houses on the lake burned down in 2017, and the owners were not granted permission to rebuild them.

There is controversy over a large tourism development in the area.
